I don’t know if you’ll believe me when I say this, but the above photo was taken in March. In Oregon. Notice that bright yellow stuff coming out of the sky? You don’t usually see that in March. In Oregon. Notice the beautiful bride in her sleeveless gown, outside, in March, in Oregon? You don’t usually see that either.
I first met Betsy several years ago, when she asked me to take some portraits of her. It was probably in March, because we photographed in a local park, taking shelter under a tree during downpours, and photographing during the breaks. Since then, we’ve taken several portraits of her with her children–on sunnier, warmer, summer days.
The past fall, I was very happy to hear that Betsy was getting married to this great guy, Roger. And even happier to hear that we were going to be photographing their wedding. And what a wedding it was!
Held at Zenith Vineyard, we arrived on a sunny, 75-degree day at the end of March. Zenith Vineyard is a gorgeous wedding venue, made even more beautiful by the spring blossoms on the trees. Add in Betsy and Roger and their great friends and family, and it really was an amazing day.
Our PhotoBooth was a big hit at the wedding–starting with Betsy’s son and daughter, Sean and Erin.
