Kathryn and Justin’s engagement portrait photography session was such an adventure. We wanted to do their session at Wahclella Falls, in the Columbia River Gorge. But as we started the hike we quickly realized it wasn’t possible with all of the snow! So we quickly thought about what we could do. We decided to drive around on the historic highway and stop at beautiful locations along the way! We ended up finding a lake that was absolutely perfect. The snow with the mountains made for an amazing backdrop, and their love (plus they’re adorable puppy) made for such a fun shoot!
