In the midst of photographing, production, and travel, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with blogging! So today I’ve put together a little slideshow of favorite images from 4 different high school senior portrait sessions shot here in Portland. The locations include the Pearl District, Laurelhurst Park, Peninsula Park, and a new ‘urban decay’ location I found recently that shall remain secret. 🙂
I’m always updating our website with new senior portraits, so feel free to visit, and see more of our unique urban senior portrait photography in Portland!
Hi there. I saw that one of my friends has “liked” you on FB. I was checking out your very nice work. I have recently decided to take my hobby of photography possibly to the next level and make a little bit of money at it. I have a senior who wants pictures and she wants them to look a bit different than everyone else in the Tualatin / Sherwood area. I don’t know a lot of cool urban places yet. I know you said you wouldn’t share your new urban decay spot but what if I ask very nicely and promise not to tell anyone else. It’s totally the look she is after. Thank you for your consideration.
Take care.
Shawna
Shawna, there are lots of great urban locations in the area. I’m always on the lookout for them. Consider Portland’s eastside industrial area, or NW Portland near the Fremont bridge, or other historic areas that haven’t yet become popular.
I’d encourage you to take one of my classes at Pacific NW College of Art. Coming up: Studio Lighting, and then Location Portraits. Also check into Newspace Center for Photography.
