First it was Stephanie, in 2008.
Then Kenzie, in 2009.
And this year, the final Johnston daughter, Megan, married Justin.
Whew!
We had the privilege of being at all three of these weddings, photographing their wedding stories. Let me just say, the Johnston family (and the families of their spouses!) know how to have fun.
As the day got started, I met Stephanie’s new baby, and if it hadn’t been for the beautiful bride, Megan, I would have been photographing the baby all day long. (I kind of did, anyhow….) She’s a cutie, and it was a real pleasure to see this beautiful little product of the love Steph and Scott solidified at their wedding two summers ago.
Megan and Justin are pretty funny to be around, and it was fun to capture some of that in their wedding portraits. Their wedding was held at her grandparent’s ‘farm’ in the middle of Forest Grove, 2 acres of gardens and trees. Considering that all of the Johnstons live within a few blocks of each other, it had a real small-town family-affair feel to it.
Their reception was also a lot of fun, featuring the PhotoBooth (very popular!), a bounce-house, bubbles, and other fun for the kids, a table full of delicious desserts, and great music provided by Perfect Memory’s DJ Adam.
Megan, Steph, and Kenzie have a little brother, Alex.
He’s 21.
