We had so much fun photographing Shelby’s senior photos at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. Aside from being gorgeous, intelligent, and funny, Shelby’s dad designed the wildlife refuge! She told me that there’s a photo of her as a little curly-haired girl in the visitor’s center, from when the building was dedicated. It’s such a beautiful location for senior portraits, but this made it even more special.
While we were photographing Shelby’s senior portraits, we asked this Wilson High School senior all kinds of questions. Here are some things we learned….
What are your favorite hobbies?
Travel, horseback riding and photography. I used to play soccer, and even played the trumpet for a year.
Any recent travel that was life-changing for you?
I went to Venice last Thanksgiving and France over the summer. Both were amazing trips and I wish I’d never left!
What are you most excited about in your senior year?
Finishing up this chapter of my life and starting a new one. Getting to really become my own person and go out on my own.
What are you planning to do after high school graduation?
Hopefully I go to either Western Washington University or University of Minnesota Duluth, or maybe even Bozeman!
What are your biggest hopes and dreams?
Just being able to see the world and live a life that makes me happy. Have a job I enjoy and really making the most out of everything. Being a creative writer would be amazing or even going into journalism. I want to continue with my photography and I hope that’s never something I stop doing.
How did you find FritzPhoto? Why did you choose FritzPhoto for your senior photos?
Online. I really liked the locations and styles shown on the website. Fritz seemed like a really fun and he was a great guy to take senior photos with.
Thanks, Shelby, for the privilege of photographing your senior pictures, and at such a special time and place in your life!
