Rachael and Alex at Hotel Monaco: Chiropractors in Love

I didn’t know Rachael and Alex were Chiropractors until Rachael told Alex to sit down, took his head in her hands, and started twisting it around until it popped.  Now that’s true love for you.

Actually, I’d met Rachael and Alex at a wedding I photographed last September at The Resort at the Mountain, Allison and Jared’s.  In the PhotoBooth, even before they were engaged, they announced to the world that they were next.  And they were right.Rachael and Alex were married at downtown Portland’s beautiful Hotel Monaco, in the Red Star Room.  And it seemed they were competing for the Guinness record for Shortest Wedding Ceremony Ever.  It was short and sweet.  Which was great, because it left more time for portraits inside and outside the hotel, on the streets of downtown Portland.

We particularly enjoyed taking photographs in slouchy poses that they, as chiropractors, would never suggest to their clients….
