Katie and Matt were married on July 23rd, 2010 at the breathtaking Mt. Hood Bed and Breakfast. It was a perfect day in the Gorge with the big blue sky and a crystal clear view of Mt.Hood which is a glorious backdrop to any wedding.
Katie’s 8 bridesmaids wore hot pink dresses and the 7 grooms men had hot pink ties. Katie’s flowers were a soft blend of dahlias, roses, and freesia in soft pinks and creams. The ceremony was followed by a reception and a casual Mexican Buffet.
It was really important to Katie and Matt to have fun, relaxed photos as you can see in the shot of Matt & his groomsmen jumping off the wine barrel. I really enjoyed the willingness of the group to take the time to play in front of the camera.
Katie and Matt had a joyous day surrounded by the love of family and friends. It was an honor to spend the day with them and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
