What do you say when you get a call from an Indian model who wants you to photograph her wedding? Well, yes, of course.
Kirtana modeled in India for years, although now she lives in the US and is a writer and editor. Her wedding to Rex, a geologist, was the delight of our Spring wedding photography season.
We started out the day before the wedding taking portraits of the couple up at the Multnomah Falls Lodge (where Rex used to work for the Forestry Service), and at the Gorge Vista House. Some of the most stunning scenery for wedding portraits ever.
The next day, everyone gathered at the recently remodeled Victorian Belle, in North Portland. This historic mansion and grounds are stunningly beautiful in the spring sunlight, and were the perfect setting for Rex and Kirtana’s wedding.
Rex and Kirtana have both danced for many years, and their choreographed First Dance was stunning.
