Cathedral Park Engagement Photos
We met Lana and Isaiah at Cathedral Park to photograph some beautiful engagement portraits together on a sunny fall day in Portland. We had a great time photographing together.
To get a little more idea of their shared past and ideas for their future we asked them a few questions.
How did you meet?
We met through a mutual friend 5 years ago, but didn’t start dating until 2 years ago.
What was most surprising about your proposal?
The most surprising aspect of the engagement was the anticipation. I thought it was going to happen over dinner but had to wait until the next day for Isiah to pop the question. Where he proposed on the beach.
Were you nervous to ask?
I was pretty nervous, was trying to find the perfect opportunity to ask. When I came to the realization that anytime would have been perfect.
Do you have any wedding plans, ideas or a date set?
We are getting married in Underwood, WA at the house Lana grew up in on August 3rd, 2019.
What are you most looking forward to about your future together?
We are looking forward to starting a family, seeing where life takes us and how we grow together as a couple. We’re also looking forward to exploring new places together.
