Brides and grooms are often nervous about hiring destination wedding photographers for their wedding. But at FritzPhoto, we’ve traveled the world photographing weddings. From New York to Napa Valley, Mexico to Thailand, we’ve photographed at some pretty cool wedding venues.
So when Chad and Marcy asked us–Portland wedding photographers that we are–to photograph their wedding on Washington’s Puget Sound, we said, “No problem!”
Their wedding was held at the Alderbrook Resort and Spa, right on the water in Union, Washington. (Who wouldn’t want to get married in a place called “Union”?) An absolutely stunning place for a wedding.

With a view of the Olympic Mountains, the Alderbrook Resort is just a stunning wedding venue.
As a takeaway gift, the couple gave their wedding guests air plants–which doubled as their place tags at the reception.
Live music always makes for a great party at a wedding reception. Marcy and Chad’s reception was no exception!
