I’ve met a lot of interesting people as I’ve photographed for the Astra Velum series over the past few years. Occasionally, I create an image that works well for the series, and also some other images for other uses.
With Celine and her mother Ute, I was able to create a variety of images that I liked. And so did some other people, including the fine folks at Lensbaby. Since I created some of these images with their new Edge80 lens, they asked to purchase the rights to use one in their marketing campaign. It’s being featured on their tradeshow booths, magazine ads, packaging, and more.
It’s also being featured in my commercial and editorial photography portfolio, both online (on my new editorial/commercial photography website) and in print.
