Five years ago, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Jason and Judy Pearce. I’d known Jason from the musical group he was part of, Rescue, whom I’d photographed for one of their albums. Jason was marrying this beautiful woman, Judy, and at the same time inheriting three beautiful children.
Well, believe it or not, the middle child is now a high school senior. When I got the call from Jason to book her senior portrait photography session, I was excited. And for good reason: Ariana was beautiful 5 years ago, and she’s only grown more so in the intervening years. She has a big smile, a quick laugh, and she’s a delight to be around.
Ariana’s a soccer player (she plays for Gresham), and was telling me about the great experience she had this summer, playing soccer in Tanzania. She also gets along great with her mom and siblings, so I had to photograph them together as well. It was a beautiful afternoon all around!
